Their Story part II

A new chance

While Worlds Apart were still celebrating their enormous success, there was something unpleasant in store for them; all of a sudden there were only three of them, with Schelim having left the band in the summer of '97. "Sie liebt dich" was due to release very soon, and there was a lot of promotion to do. They went on as a trio. After a couple of weeks, an announcement was made: a new member was chosen. The new man was to make his first appearance in Eurodisney Paris in October. This was Tim Fornara, formerly member of British band The One, a band which had been created for their own TV-series on ITV. The videoclip of "Back to where we started", their next and first single with the new one, was shot in the Scottish Highlands. Up to now, this was Worlds Apart's last change concerning its members - but from the first cast, nobody but Steve Hart was left. And all of them were English right now. Er..., Worlds Apart? Don't change...?

The One

Je serai la...

"Je serai la" was published in winter '97/'98 and presented live on their tour through France. The last single to be released in Germany was a special edition of "Back to where we started". They toured again with their "The Future Tour", presenting their new song "The Future", which was not published as a single.
"Close your Eyes", recorded for a TV-ad in France, was released in winter.
