Birthplace: Reikai... She currently works as a ferry girl at the palace.

Family: It's quite a mystery actually. :-)

Powers: She drives a good hard punch for a girl, can use a bat efficiently and flies an oar.

Interesting fact about Botan: In the movie, Botan was actually able to hold the Sphere of Mekai inside her body! Talk about strength, girl!

Role in the Series: Being a Reikai ferry girl, Botan was sent in the first few episodes to bring Yusuke to the Spirit World and later to guide him in the challenges he had to face to get back to the Ningenkai. Throughout the series, she remains as Koenma's messenger and has become a very good friend to Yusuke and the gang. She is Koenma's most trusted confidante. Botan's also one of the most comical characters in YYH.

Love Interest: I'd like to think she and Koenma would make a good pair!
