Geddy Lee

My Favorite Headache

Anthem Records (Atlantic)

This is the first solo effort from Geddy Lee, the famed vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist from Rush, and I have to say I am impressed. This CD features Geddy on basses, vocals, piano, guitar, and percussion; Ben Mink on electric and acoustic guitars, violins, and violas; and Matt Cameron of Sound Garden fame on drums.

This album marks something new for Geddy because he wrote all the lyrics, co-produced the CD, and arranged the string parts. This is definitely a solid album all though at times it sounds like Rush. Favorite cuts include "The Present Tense", "Working at Perfect", "Moving to Bohemia", and "Slipping". The album showcases what a brilliant musician Geddy Lee is. Nothing is over played or out of place. It was arranged and produced flawlessly. I can't say enough good things about it. Go out and grab a copy!!!!!!
