The Little Feat show at Toad's Place was a joyful trip down memory lane as the group played many of their memorable classics to a delighted crowd of about 250. The concert, which lasted for two hours and ten minutes, showed off the band's musical versatility, going from blues, country, cajun folk, and straight up rock and roll, blended into a unique style that for over 25 years is a sound and style all their own. The joyful crowd frequently joined in on vocals, with the band obligingly letting the congregation take over while they happily played along.
The night's song list included: "Rad Gumbo", "Hate to Lose Your Loving", "One Clear Moment", "Old Folks Boogie", "Dixie Chicken", "Oh Atlanta", "Let it Roll", and concluded with an encore featuring, "Willin'", "Don't Bogart That Joint", and "Feats Don't Fail Me Now". In addition, the band played several new songs which will be included on a CD to be released soon.
