To Whom It May Concern:
It's been difficult, but jaded we will not become. Everything (except the band) has fallen apart
before, and yet it has been put back together again. This is what life tends to be like. This is what Laughing Gas
is all about...diggin deep, feeling what is there, sharing that pain or joy, and becoming or realizing
something more because of the music. It's not just the band that makes Laughing Gas
special. It's those who have supported us from the beginning, and those who have come for the ride along the way.
They've been to the shows. They know...They can understand the feeling because they've heard the music, and they've
felt the vibe. We sincerely hope that you do, too.
This is an introduction to the musical side of Laughing Gas:
Devil in the Details¤ This debut record, produced by "British Engineering Guru" Martin Feveyear
(Green Apple Quickstep, SuperDeluxe, etc.), shows the multiple musical
expressions of four musicians while still retaining the common thread of a band
with a definite style and feel. Recorded at Stepping Stone Recording
in Seattle, WA with the help of some wonderful equipment (SSL, Trident, etc.) and some of the
best people (friends) in the business, Devil in the Details¤ is an accurate musical depiction of where
Laughing Gas is now, as well as a foundation for many great experiments and endeavours
Laughing Gas will definitely embark on in the future.
All in all, we are very proud of this record and those who have helped and
supported us. We sincerely hope you enjoy, and feel, and join the ride...
