Dear Recruiter,

I have a current US Government clearance OPM NACCL (Secret). I have a diverse background having been involved with a variety of challenging and highly successful projects over my twenty year career.  I have worn many hats and can add value to any position in the areas of administration, design, troubleshooting, configuration management, and project management. I am certified in CMMI-II SW and have over 15 years of SDLC experience.

My time with the IRS position required defining and documenting all processes and procedures for the IRS. I supervised a small 24x7 team for level II/III problem determination. I was responsible for root cause analysis and corrective actions for infrastructure and J2EE applications.  During those two years, the IRS Web portals obtained the highest uptime, 99.5%, during the 8 year history of the project. Time to repair decreased from 4 hours to less than one and the frequency of outages decreased from daily to less than 1 per month.

I worked for IBM on-site at the Internal Revenue Service supporting the IBM/IRS Web Portal and the CSC development labs. These systems utilized a complex security system using Alteon SSL, 3 layer firewall, backend policy servers, and interfacing with LDAP (Two-Factor authentication). Operating System and middleware components were Unix, Windows 2000, 2003, IIS, WebSphere, MQ, and Oracle. I was the lead CM on the AFS Unix scripting project to develop a Tivoli-pushed package and was instrumental in developing patch management for the Windows-based lab systems. I also developed the Windows 2003 and IIS 6 Build Documentation used for the next phase of deployment.

Previously, I worked as a contractor for the Social Security Administration. During that time, I became the administrator of the Y2K Lab, which was the only government agency to receive an “A” rating by Congress.

To stay current in all my skill sets, I have my own lab with the following products: Solaris 10 x86 & sparc, Windows 2003 Enterprise server; RedHat Linux, Fedora Linux, IIS, Apache, IBM Websphere, MQ. I can code up to 1000 lines per day using NetBeans IDE , JAVA.
