I was surprised at the quality when I first saw this video. KMFDM boots (at least the ones I've encountered) have a reputation for being on the lower end of the scale....quality wise. Not this one, it is a clear picture throughout the show and the audio is very clean also. The show was recorded from the upper level of a small club so you get closeups of all the band members on stage. The core band members are constantly changing roles on stage. Sascha plays drums on an electronic drum pad with real symbols for most of the set but steps down to sing on "Virus", "Search & Destroy", "Light", and "More & Faster". He even pulls out a megaphone to yell "Nihil" lyrics on "Disobedience" and "Terror". En Esch shares drum duties for most of the show with Sascha but plays guitar on "Flesh" and "Ultra". He also shares backing vocals throughout the show with Sascha. Raymond Watts sings on the "Nihil" songs as on the album. He attempts to play guitar on "Light" and "A Drug Against War" but quits well before the songs end. He usually ends up just walking around aimlessly with his guitar hanging loosely from his shoulder. If you were wondering whether or not there is a female vocalist at all, well there is. She mostly remains at the back of the stage but makes a couple approaches up front every once and a while. I strongly recommend this video for those who are KMFDM fans because of the quality and great set.
