The band had to finish by 10pm (noise curfew in Sydney); felt some songs
could have gone longer with greater improvisation eg JJF was finished in
a flash. They start and finish with the same songs but the postings I've
seen show the middle part varies greatly. Those who don't know all the
songs (unlike me) got a bit puzzled with some of these middle songs.
Late posting due to total inexperince with newsgroups.

If this is at all different to any other shows anyone has seen on the
Voodoo Lounge tour, I'd be interested in knowing what songs were added
or deleted. I doubt that there were many variations, as the show was
extremely tight, leaving little room for spontenaity.
A great show, what with fireworks, video effects etc., but Rock & Roll?,
I'm Not so sure. Maybe just the fact that they're still at it is
Rock & Roll. I hope their next tour is on a much smaller scale. Perhaps
Mick will remember that they started out as a blues band. It would seem
like a good direction to go back to, keeping in mind their advancing age.
I hear Mick Taylor is available.
Keep on Rockin' Marty
