Like a shooting star,
She comes to me from afar -
This strange little stargirl.
She soothes my rustic heart
And makes me feel a part
Of this cruel vampyric world.
Pleasurable days,
And Ruritanian nights,
I spend with her alone.
Crossing tarpits and gravel,
The planets we travel,
Through the galaxy, together, we roam.
Before this a mongrel,
Now top dog I am.
With my stargirl, I am King.
She seeps in my soul,
And takes over, controls
My movements, my speech, how I think.
I am lost in her eyes,
Impaired by her voice.
Only she makes me feel so good.
How I long for the next time
I can hold her and kiss her,
When she comes and removes her hood.
Her beauty is unmatched,
Her grace unparalleled
To any mere mortal.
I want to be around her,
Beside her, inside her.
I want to enter her portal.
But like a shooting star,
That has come so far,
Her warmth and light extinguishes.
She bids farewell
With a sick and weak smile.
The little spark diminishes.
And once again,
I am left alone,
To fight my mammoth battles.
But the fire is gone.
The will, the desire.
I jump. A planet rumbles.
