Gone So Soon?
The day is over
another time to sit and mourn
Has it been so long?
but who still cares
Blood stained carpets have been
long removed
They holy ground where he once rested
is now under construction
His new generation is slowly learning
his only remaining name is now understanding
And the choice will be hers
The old flame had been
blown out and
had been replaced by a new
candle
The cold, thin air of that
dark and lonely day
Had returned once again
But this time it takes with it
The fallen memories and
words he once wrote down
Signs of hope for the truth
are destroyed by an over-rated widow
who had used these times of sadness
as a "reflecting" time to
grown a layer of celebrity skin
If it was murder, let it be
known
if it was really suicide, let it
be put to rest
But what is left to show for?
what have we all become?
How would it be
if he was still here?
