Statement by doctor of Linda McCartney

Below is the statement made by Linda McCartney's doctor following rumors of assisted suicide after her death.

Text reads:
The following statement is issued at the request of Linda McCartney's family. Dr. Larry Norton, head of the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center was Linda McCartney's primary medical oncologist. It is his medical opinion that she died of natural causes with metastatic breast cancer. Dr. Norton is not available for further comment and no further information will be available.
