ThE StOrY Of BlonDe vINyl

Mike Knott formed Blonde Vinyl records to make his music his way. Some of Mike's best work is on Blonde Vinyl such as "The Grape Prophet" and "Screaming Brittle Siren". Knott also helped bands like Dietiphobia, Fluffy, and Dance House Children (with Jason Martin of Starflyer 59) get thier start. Knott was able to try producing and re-mixing. Knott used his company to promote bands that were original and talented. Things were going good for Blonde Vinyl. Then came the choice to hook up with Spectra distribution. They were to distibute albums like "This is the Healing" and "Poplife". Well Spectra went under and it dragged Blonde Vinyl down with it. Broken Records released "Radioactive Hits: the definative Blonde Vinyl Collection", which had a new L.S.U. bonus tack named "Beg and Kick." Many Blonde Vinyl albums are worth a lot of $ because the music rocks and there aren't that many copies out there. Blonde Vinyl records wasn't around for a long time, but it left a lasting mark.
