The pages have now all been updated to the new colour scheme and i think it is looking a lot better. I also added a totally new page which is dedicated to the set-up of Sendmail and Fetchmail on linux. Using this you can give the users on your system the illusion of a permanent connection to the internet when they use email. It works by collecting new emails when the dialup link is active and que-ing emails which are to be sent when the dial-up link is not active. Unfortunately the page is not my own work but it was no longer availible at the address I had for it so I've included it here

Well this is a major shock!!! I've managed to do work on my site two days in a row, wow!. Anyway, all I did today is convert the downloads page and the barbie page to the new stylesheet format. Soon I will be rid of that horrible colour scheme all together. More tomorrow hopefully :-)

I've made some major changes today (to this front page anyway). Having discovered 'Style Sheets' I have decided to use them on my web-site and anyone who has visited here before will probably be breathing a large sigh of relief :o)
Unfortunatly I have not had enough time to do all the pages here but I am getting there. The next step will be to try and make the HTML complient with W3C standards.

This site can now be reached from http://www.ij-watson.co.uk which is my own lovely URL!!! Sad isn't it. I am also changing this site into a slightly frames based site. (i.e. the navibar on the right) but all the links will soon be present on this page also for you folkies who use a non-frames browser.

Changed a couple of things on the page today:
1) Made the font size on this page 'normal' as it was appearing large in some browsers
2) Shrunk a couple of the pictures to a smaller size (something I should have done before I uploaded them!)

Well, contrary to the previous message, I never managed to get the site up and running that day. Well it is now up for all to see, and all sections have some content (well, there are no d/l's yet). Hopefully the site will be fully functional for your surfing pleasure.
