What a great bunch of musicians... The show at Shoreline Ampitheatre was just great. Two Step got the crowd moving... it's a great show opener. #41... What can I say? Dave's screams were loud, and Roi's jam was phenomenal. Say Goodbye had a great set of lyrics this time. Then came Best Of What's Around... I had never heard this song live before, but I love it even more now. Dave's vocals once again were very strong. Roi took this song too... he was hot. Lover Lay Down, another first for me, was sssssssssssssso smooth...Jimi Thing, all I can say is "BOYD!" his jam was amazing. LIOG... Los Lobos sat in on this one. Great jam. For The Beauty of Wynona... another first for me. I liked it... I think I would have rather heard Leave Me Praying, but this was cool. Then... PFWYG. What a great song... and Roi jammed with Dave, Carter, and Stefan here. NANCIES... one of my favorites... Dave and Boyd got off on this one. Then Crash. I agree with other comments... I love this song, but it "goes nowhere" live... not much room for improv, which is what I want to see. Oh well. Then Billies... moving as usual. The SMTS intro caught me offguard... I like that. And I love the new iteration of "Anyone Seen The Bridge"... it's great with Roi jamming... right in to Too Much... very hot. The boys came back to encore with Weight of The World... good song, the only time I have heard it other than bad recordings of D&T. And they finished with a strong Ants. In all, a great show. I would have liked some old stuff... Maybe True Reflections, or Granny... but a great show. At the very least, I have some great memories and a new bootleg to put in my collection...
