Proudest Monkey's Review:
This is a great song but does not reach its full potential on CRASH. The acoustic riffs are great, but I really don't like the jam in the middle. It gets kind of boring and that talking in the background doesn't make sense to me. On the other hand, the older version of this song is phenomenal. On some live tapes I have, Roi soloed during the long jam session and it was great, some of the best stuff I have heard from him. After the pause and the entrance, "I can't believe.." the CRASH version gives me the feeling that the band is in a hurry to end the song. In the old days and even in the live performances now, they repeat the last couple of verses a few more times than on the album. The song used to end with "And we danced away" and a great guitar strum and sax part. For some strange reason this part is now extinct. I don't know why because it was a great ending to a great song.
