Oasis News

February 24th, 1998

Cathay Pacific are currently considered whether they should BAN Oasis from their airline after the band's recent flight from Hong Kong to Australia. The band were said to have had "outrageous behaviour".

Oasis and their crew of 31 were said to have abused passengers and staff, behave offensively and smoke! The captain threatened to divert the plane or get Oasis arrested unless their behaviour improved.

The band took a day off admist large media coverage to Rott Nest Island. While the cameras filmed, the band made V gestures with their fingers and Bonehead even mooned on the national news!

Meanwhile, Liam denied throwing anything, and said he spent £20,000 on 31 seats so he was upset. He also said that the pilot told him to shut up, which he didnt mind because he likes that - but he said to tv reporters while in Rottnest, that if he met the pilot 'out of his shirt' (out of uniform) he would stab him, because the pilot needed stabbing by a pick axe up his 'arse'!

Before the bust-up, Oasis rocked the audience at their recent gig in Hong Kong. Noel after the gig apparently told reporters "I've had enough with Man City. When I return i'm going to buy that club" but a Creation Records spokesman said he wasn't "serious".
