My name is Joe Jaggi and welcome to my homepage! I am
essentially an organ player not a converted
piano player, there is a difference!
I was born in the Philadelphia area. I played
accordion as a child,
switching to organ soon after. My first organ was a
Hammond M-1. I played
in clubs up and down the east coast until 1976 when I
moved to Palm Springs,
California. After a few years of playing the clubs
and lounges I was introduced
to Sonny Bono and soon after I became his musical
director. I worked for Sonny
for over 10 years. I still live in the Palm Springs
area where I am presently
working. I also do session work.
I am known for my vocal characterizations of famous
singers Sinatra etc. I have done
"sound alike" vocals on movie soundtracks as well as
commercials. I also do
keyboard sweetening, piano, strings, horns,
accordion, sequencing, and of course
organ. I also kick bass. I have all the latest gear
including my Hammond B-3 with four 122 Leslies.
