Introduction

Here is somewhat of a remix version of the Ben Folds Five track Underground from their 1995 self-titled album. This sound file is my final project for a class I've just completed at the University of California at Santa Cruz, entitled Music and the World Wide Web. Our final project was to create a minute of music, utlizing some downloaded sounds from the web. Since I am such a huge fan of the Ben Folds Five, I thought why not try to do something with one of their songs. Underground is a great track and it was fun manipulating it. This is my first attempt at remixing/sound design so it may sound a bit rough and amateurish, but I think that it came out pretty well. Enjoy! Contact me

Technical Information

This sound file contains 3 sound samples. 1.An Underground sample downloaded from TD's Ben Folds Five site. 2.The first five seconds from the single version of Little Bird by Annie Lennox released in 1992. 3.The first 13 seconds from the Blues Skies(Rabbit in the Moon Phantomless Blue Mix) featuring Tori Amos.

All sounds were manipulated and mixed using Deck 2 and Sound Edit 16 Macintosh software.
