Anouk Teeuwe is currently thy hottest sensation in
Holland. After her debut single 'Mood Indigo'(1996)
things got quiet. A year later 'Nobody's Wife'
stormed up the charts. Her al- bum 'Together Alone' was released octobre 1997,
followed by single 'it's so hard' (Spring'98).
Her latest song 'Sacrifice' was released autumn'98.

Close II You was formed in winter 97/98. After
their dance- hit 'Nice & Nasty' Arlice left the
group and Sally joined in. Their second single
'Baby don't go' topped the dutch top 5 in autumn'97
and was re-released in a special X-mas edition. Their album "Closer" was
released april 1998 and was fol- lowed by singles
'Somebody' and 'Hold me now'.
'Friends' is the latest release .

2 Unlimited. They are back, not Ray & Anita but
Romy and Marjon ! (That's right, boys: the're both girls.) The first song was
'Wanna get up'. Their second single was a little
disa- pointing 'Edge of Heaven'. But with their
latest release 'Never surrender' the dance-floors
are swinging once again.

5 Alive/PattyCash was one first girl-band to
emerge in The Netherlands after the Spice Girls' succes. Created by ex-'dolly
dot' Patty Bard the group (PattyCash) released 'Do you
wanna fly'. After changing record-label the girls continued as '5 Alive'
with 'Bad Boys' & 'Sisters
in love'.The new single is 'Old Love Lies Deep'.

Mach 4 was created in response to the new girl-bands
in the Netherlands. Rather then concentrating on pop/dance- music, these four
girls bring a mix of R'n'B, Ballads and Rap. Although their first single
'One Step' was briljant according the critics, it
did not bring commercial succes. Their second release was 'The Beginning OF The End'.

Daniella's Daze (Daniella Porsius) is the alternative to Anouk
and is supported by Rob and Ferdi Bolland. The first single is
'100% Jesus' sounding a bit like Alanis
Morissette/Joan Osborne. Her album 'Slut' was released this februari.
Although averge, Alanis-fans should check it out.
