Ok. I really appreciate your intrest in my opinion of bootlegs. And here it
is:
I have bought every single possible thing that i can from the
Counting Crows and Geffen. I own every record, single (imports acutally so
they cost more), posters, T shirts, concert tickets, and the sheet music.
There is not one thing out there that i have yet to buy and if it is, i have
simply not had the oppurtunity. Bootlegs exist for one thing. That is for the Fans. The real fans. The Fans who have supported the artists and helped them get to where they are today. So i collect bootlegs because i enjoy the music. I am not making a profit. I simply want to hear good music. This is not a crime. If anything, tape traders are ripping off the original bootleggers. Is there anything that is so bad about that?
