The Church Bizarre

Maybe He Ain't Right

Taken from the tit at such an early age
His hunger could only turn to rage
If his head was on straight
You’d never know it
If he had a heart
He’d never show it
But sometimes his eyes
If you sneak a peek
Say things
Only angels used to speak

He’s got blisters for emotions
‘cause he’s rubbed the wrong way
He never goes straight
Always takes the long way
He’s an old world sleeper
‘gonna fall awake at the dawn
Maybe he ain’t right
But he don’t think he’s wrong
He just needs some love
To find his way

He has these visions
But he don’t know it
You never see him cry
But one day he’ll blow it
Sometimes he lies
But between the lines
Lay schemes
Only angels used to dream
