Hi and welcome to my website! May you enjoy your time here, clicking your way round my little part of that which is the intangible and vast universe known as Cyber Space. It shall be no secret that I am totally obsessed with indie/alternative music and because I felt that someone had to do something to save this world from the miseries of Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Aqua and the likes, I decided to start this website (about 8 years ago now, and it’s still under construction!). Thus, this site should be seen as a means to spread the word about quality music….
Although good music is the main focus here, there are other facilities available too.

The Latest – 06/11/05 Hello guys! Spending more time updating my fairly new blog called Lilly's Lounge than this site. The attentive reader will have noticed this [actually, I think even the unattentive reader will have noticed it by now]. I know Villa Rosie is in serious need of quite a few updates, particularly the Music Guide section. Most of the bands I have listed there have either split up, or they've re-united after a split up! Ok, I am exaggerating here, but I hope you get the point. Hopefully, I'll get my arse in gear soon...patience...

Music Guide is where you should go to expand your knowledge on quality music. As mentioned above, the main focus is on indie/alternative music, thus this is a quick and simple guide to the world of great music and great performers. The list is by no means complete – there are so many cool sounds out there. It should simply be seen as a starting point.

Hold On To Your Friends is where you can find links to sites made, designed, and maintained by some of my friends. They’re all cool Girls & Boys, so you’ll miss out on a lot if you do not try some of them out.

Lilly's Lounge is my other website -- it has the shape of a blog. I tend to update it a bit more often than Villa Rosie. My blog is where I talk shite non-stop. You have been warned.

I love comics and superheroes - Wolverine is one of my favourites. He kicks some serious a**e!

Fact File is a brief description/presentation of the person, i.e., me, behind this page and the stuff I am into. Queen of Cool or Sad Bastard – I’ll leave that up to you to decide. Enter only if you feel like being nosey.

My Story is the extended, or epic, version of the above Fact File. It’s for those of you who thinks the truth is out there; the truth about me, that is. I’ve not got much to hide really, so if you’re in a hurry or easily bored, I’d suggest you skip this part of the site.
