Aaliyah (1979 - 2001)

Aaliyah Haughton (1979 - 2001)

R&B singer Aaliyah died on the night of August 25, 2001 when the small plane carrying her and 8 video crew members crashed after takeoff.  Aaliyah was in Bahamas to shoot her upcoming video Rock The Boat with director Hype Williams.

Hype Williams WAS NOT a passenger on the plane.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friends of Aaliyah and the video crew members killed in the crash.

The three directors featured on this site were fortunate enough to have worked on videos with Aaliyah.  As a tribute to Aaliyah and her amazing musical career, here is a run-down of the videos and projects that Aaliyah worked on with Hype Williams, Paul Hunter, & Little X.
