Limblifter started off as a side project. Ryan wrote a few songs and made tapes for his friends with his brother Kurt and his friend Ian. They would just jam and make a tape of four tracks. Everyone loved the tapes and they couldn't keep up with the requests. Their friend Krisjan invited them to a studio for four days over Christmas to make some tapes. They recorded 4 tracks and 11 songs on a stolen tape. They got a deal from MCA in Canada and Mercury in the states. They called themselves Limblifter. Originally they wanted to call themselves Surprise Kinder Egg(because Ryan and Kurt both collects Kinder Surprise Eggs), but they were afraid of breaking copyrights. It's obvious that everyone loves Limblifter. They have 2 music videos, Vicious(which you see them use crappy cars and play battle mode like Mario Cart)and Tinfoil. They opened for Oasis and they loved Limblifter! Oasis asked them for copies of the Limblifter CD and Liam Galleger personally told them that he really likes their music! Question is, can Limblifter and Age of Electric co-exist? I think so. Since when Ryan and Kurt go work on Limblifter, maybe John and Todd can spend some time with their families(sorry chicas, they're BOTH happily married and have kids). I think it can work. It's working right now isn't it?
