baby-toting excursions.
_ {_} <- Mummy & Daddy's luggage. __ { } n {__} (_) <> \_/ <- Baby's bag, clothes, bed things, feeding stuff, nappys, toys, ....We always managed to limit luggage to roughly the boot=trunk of the (SMALLER) "european cars" (ford, toyota, ... er ... European, yes, right.) (although you probably could hire a larger car we find the challenge of packing everything into a restricted space (and then digging in it for the rest of the trip) just too much fun).
We've been recently converted to using just one large suitcase (for all Mummy & Daddy's stuff and baby clothes) and a bag for everything else (besides small bags for everyday nappy/food use).
We refuse to tote the travel cot any more, where the hotel doesn't provide one then rearrangment of furniture and blankets into baby-safe sleeping area has worked out fine.

TAKE THIS RIGHT.. ( I guess from Limerick/Ennis interchange left and right above ;-) ) The first house you come to is the guy who owns the holiday homes, the next entrance is into the houses themselves. If anybody gets seriously lost, the guys name is Seamus Cloney and his number is: 053-37241. I will know what houses we are staying in on Friday and will circulate an email. If I don't get you before you leave you can call me on 087-2216239. The cost will be £30 per person for the weekend and sheets and towels will be provided. We can organise food when we get there but my guess is that we'll probably eat out mostly... booked two houses in Curracloe (overlooking the beach) for the weekend of Sept. 24th - 26th. Contact : Siobhan McDonnell Tel : 053 29988 In the north-west, the Blackstairs Mountains (highest point : Mount Leinster - 2,610 feet, 780m) offer a veritable feast of hill-climbing and hill-walking, Killann and Bunclody make good starting points. Coolgreaney is a good base for hill-walking at the point where the Wicklow range crosses into Wexford. Another brisk climb offering spectacular views of the county is the 300m Slieve Coilte, eight miles south of New Ross. Beside Slieve Coilte is the John F. Kennedy Arboretum and Forest park, which has a number of signposted forest walks. Coolattin Woods, near Gorey, and Oaklands / Kelly's Wood, near New Ross, provide other good woodland walks. Combine forest and hill-walking at Tara Hill (833 feet, 250m) near Gorey or at Carrickbyrne Hill (769 feet, 230m) on the main New Ross-Wexford Road. Winding through the lush, river-valley country in the centre of the signposted Slaney Way. There are shorter signposted walks at Oulart Hill in the north of the county and at Tintern-saltmills in the south-west. Oulart is steeped in the history of 1798 Rebellion and Tintern boasts a beautiful medieval abbey and an extraordinary castellated bridge. The signposted Slí Charman (Wexford Way), which runs the entire length of Wexford's coastline, is intended primarily as a driving tour. But sections of Slí Charman work equally well as coastal walks. The same is true of the Ring of Hook, a signposted circuit of the Hook Peninsula in the south-west of the county. Another part of the coast which offers particularly rewarding walks is the region south of Rosslare - Carnsore point, Tacumshane lake and Our Lady's Island. There are some excellent wayside pubs and restaurants to help you break your journey ! In Rosslare itself, a walk to the end of The Burrow and back - out by the road and back by the beach, or vice-versa - is a relaxing work-out.
