Rockabilly Rose Peacock was awarded
"The Lazy Kyllonen Boozing Society" prestigious award from Finland, June, 1998...
Hi Y'all! I'm Rockabilly Rose & I live in New Orleans!
Come meet these cool deejays who I found because many are fans of
JOSIE KREUZER and rockabilly music! I've become fascinated with what's goin on here--there's my 30's church radio and here's my computer all in the same room--can we crank out da tunes to cyberspace or what? It seems that the number of radio stations with websites doubled in 1997 and many are getting involved in webradio. That means, if you have a computer that cruises at least 28kbs (minimum: Pentium 120 with 16 Mb RAM)
You can download any of these FREE:
or try the newest version:
note: Win 3.1, NT 3.5.x, UNIX & Mac users, will need to download 5.0
Others are available too:Streamworks It's not as difficult as it sounds.
You can listen while you work on something else, just be forewarned, they may drift in and out especially when you navigate, a small price to pay to enjoy a broadcast from hundreds or thousands of miles away, huh!?
Some of the shows listed below may be able to be heard online, others you'll have to catch if you happen to be in that city, maybe on your way to one of the RAB weekenders this summer!
SEND ME YOUR LINKS! If you know of or have a rockabilly radio show, please register and I'll add you to my list
