An arm and a leg!
And an ear and half my tongue
A testicle and a kidney
Half a head of hair and a hemisphere of grey matter
The top half of my member
And 10 toes and fingers, all together
At least Bill Gates didn't get half, as prophecied
It was someone, a little less in the limelight
Moreso in the moonlight
Or the light of the Lord, our Goddess
And in the sunny rays of soulshine
One thing retained in whole, and one not at all
The will, the soul, the spirit never can be divided
and knows no division.
But, the heart, my heart out there in the world
Very easily cut up divided and minced to small cutlets for the crows
This is amazing, finely rooted in life
As the heart is also capable of incredible regeneration
Constant regeneration
And new life fills my world as I am discovering my self again
Oh, how ugly I long to be, but how ugly I truly am!
And beautiful in the same toss of the coin...
