Hi. I am long returned from Michegan (it was fun). School's started again, and despite the fact that there hasn't been one full week yet (holidays and hurricane floyd put together saw to that) a lot of stuff has been happening. I joined debate and journalism, and next week the foreign exchange discussion will be held, and forms will be passed out so that people can join. I am joining. I hope to go to France, but I don't really know yet. One of the reasons I haven't been updating this page much is that nothing much has been happening. Ike and Tay cut thier hair, and we don't yet know about Zac; that's the most news that's happened this month so far. Hehe. But at least they are back in the studio working on their album again. I can't wait for it to come out. To hear some of the songs that will be on it, in their early stages, go to Hansonhouse. I listened to the songs, but the quality of the download isn't all that great, so I don't really have an opinion yet. Um, that's really all. I'll try to update again soon.
So they aired the national anthem after all. Yay! Hehe. And I think they finally had that Ugly Phil interview...I was going to listen to it, and even set my alarm, but just couldn't get up this morning. Lazy me :-). But I look forward to hearing what they said. And I'm going to Michegan to visit my friend! The plane tickets arrived today!!! My first time traveling alone...I'm so excited! I haven't seen my friend in over a year, since she moved to the States, and now that I have too I get to visit her. Um, I'll try to update the page again soon. Wish me luck on my trip!
Hanson has signed an agreement to do an internet promotional campaign of their new album. You can click here to go to the internet company that they signed the contract with. There is a link on that main page to an article about it, if you want details.
Ok, I removed the rants page because no one ever wrote rants to me. If anyone does, I'll repost the rants page.
Today I added a Amazon.com page to my site. Go to that page and it will tell you some of my favorite books, and have links to buy them there. The link to that is below the news section.
No real updates today. The next chapter of my story will be up soon. In other news, my cousin visited this week; that was cool. First time seeing him in three years. Visit his webpage at The Domain of Vortex. I'm looking forward to the upcoming Hanson cd. Still a few months away, but they have some songs written, so it's getting there. I'm kinda tired, and feel uninspired, so forgive my lack of enthusiasm right now. I just felt I should write to let you guys know I'm alive. :-)
There is a new hosted story, called All I Ask, by Heather. Go check it out!
Vote for Hanson at teenpeople online to get them on the cover.
Hi. I'm sorry that I haven't updated in like a week, but my internet access time has been severely limited by my parents, until my room is ready. When we arrived, I just dumped everything out of their boxes (hehe, that's unpacking - kinda), and it's mostly still there. My parents are getting fed up about that. Aren't parents a pain? If they don't like the room, they could just stay out. Anyway, there are no real updates today, but I will try to add the Yahoo! chat transcript soon. Taylor really did get an earring, on the top of his ear! And Wicket died :-(. Poor girl.
Updates will go back to normal soon. I've been really busy getting settled, though. We are moving from the temporary apartment to the house is a couple weeks (which will probably shut down updates for a few days again), and I'm starting my new school, here in America, on Monday, probably. I'm not looking forward to being the new kid. I wish there were some Hanson appearances, since I missed all of them while living in Brazil; now that I live in the States and can get the appearances they seem to have gone into hiding! ;-)
I updated my story! Go check out Shooting Star. Chapter Five is up.
I'm thinking of taking down the rants page. No one ever e-mails me for it, anyway, so it's sort of useless. I'm also thinking of adding a guestbook. Would people actually write in it, though? I know I get visitors (though I wish I got more), but no one ever communicates with me. I am sending out now a desperate cry for e-mail. Not chain letters, though. Those annoy me. PLEASE E-MAIL ME! Desperate enough for ya? :-)
In less than a week I am moving to Miami. I don't know when I will be able to update again, because of the move. It could be anywhere from two weeks to six.::cheering upl:: But we did find a beautiful house while in Miami, which is great. It is really nice.
Also, my best friend Sasha finally got e-mail! HI SASHA! She's going to help me redesign this page. Oh, and I promise that once I'm resettled updates will go up, majorly. After all, I will be living in the States, and I'll be able to get all the Hanson appearances. Wish me luck with the move!
I updated the appearance page. Also, I tried to put my picture up and found out I have the wrong kind of browser. It's always something. ::Sigh::.
I haven't updated in a fortnight or so, but that was partly because my computer was away getting upgraded...I now have more memory, and can add pictures. Speaking of which, you can expect a picture of me soon. Scared yet? You will be. :::hysterical insane laughter::: Anyway, expect updates soon. Although, this month will not be a good update month. I have finals, and on New Year's my family is moving to Miami, plus we're house hunting there before then. So I'm very busy.
Ok, I haven't updated for like a week, but I have a good reason. Reasons. Monday was my birthday (btw, I'm now fifteen!), and I was busy w/ my family that day. Plus, I'm not doing so hot in school, so I've been running around all week trying to fix things with my teachers. I've been getting lectures from everyone, and my parents are mad. However, on a good note, I got a digital camera for my b-day! So as soon as my dad manages to hook it onto the computer pictures are going up. Of me. Be afraid...be very afraid! HAHAHA!!! Oh, and I swear that I will update Shooting Star within the next couple days. I'm so sorry for the delay. I've got many chapters written, but I'm just too lazy to type them!
I added the 3rd yahoo chat, from the 10th. I'll be putting up the other two yahoo chats soon, as well. BTW, I got the video (LFA). It's great! I love the brocoli part...even my sister laughed, and she hates Hanson.
I will probably update my story by a couple chapters this week. I've given it a name. My new story is now called "Shooting Star". About time I named it, huh?
I went skiing last weekend! Not on snow, since this is Sao Paulo, but on this plastic grass kind of stuff. People say it's just like skiing on snow, so that's cool. I should know how to ski, since I have discovered that my grandfather was actually in the skiing hall of fame (Anthony Wise) . I fell down so many times...but it was still just so much fun. Plus, isn't it amazing how all ski instructors are cute? Is it a requirement or something? Even the ski lift was fun, after the first time, when I was scared.
Another thing we had today was a basketball game. We lost 22-83 . Pathetic, huh? But those girls were good. Some of them have even dropped out of school to play basketball (those laws aren't taken so seriously here in Brazil...in fact, I have no idea if laws regarding schools even exist). And despite our dismal failure there (my dad laughed when I told him about the game) it was still nice, and I enjoyed the challenge. Next time we'll do better. Look out for updates tomorrow. On the page, I mean, not on my basketball "career".
Wow! Zac, a teenager. Tay was only thirteen when he first became famous, and now Zac is. It doesn't seem that long ago. I wonder what this year will bring him.
My grandmother is here. She brought me a bunch of magazines from the States, which is nice. Plus a lot of junk food, which is also definitely nice :-). Right now I am making candles. There are two hanging in the kitchen half done, drying. I never have before, though, so I don't really know what I'm doing. And the wax is still sort of yellow, so maybe I should have strained it some more. We'll see how it comes out.
Yesterday my little brother turned three. The day before my dad turned 38. Yesterday was a lousy day, though, despite those things, and I'm glad that today there wasn't school. Otherwise, it probably would have been another one of those days today.
I had the first day of school back from Miami. Everyone loved my new pants! THANK YOU SASHA (my best friend, who gave them to me)! Miami was so nice....warm, friendly, familiar. I feel like it's where I should be. I used to live there, and it's always been more home than Brazil. Brazil is nice, but I'm not Brazilian, neither legally or emotionally. ::Sigh:: Anyway, (cheering up) my story page has been changed slightly. I gave each story it's own page for chapters. The next chapter of my new story should be up by tomorrow. I wanted to have it up by today, but I didnt' finish typing it. Updates on this story will be regular for a while, at least, because I've already written five and a half chapters. I just have to type them up and decide on a title.
Hi. If you're Mariana, and the link I sent you didn't work, go here. And if anyone else wants to know, it's just a project on midwivery I did for school. It's due Monday, and since I'm leaving tomorrow for a week, I won't be able to give it in. My teacher refuses to give me extra time, so Mariana has offered to print it and turn it in for me. By the way, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I will take down the project when I return next week.
The next chapter of my story will go up today! I am typing it as you read this.
I should have the first couple of chapters up of my new story this weekend. Sunday I'm leaving for Miami, though, so after that there will be a week without updates. So be forewarned. Anyway, look for the story updates
No updates today. There's really nothing to say. The tour is almost over. Only one more concert to go. I can't help hoping they add more. After all, the more dates there are, the more chance that I'll manage to get to one. I mean, I've been reading all these reviews, and it just makes me want to go more. They better come to Brazil, soon!
Oh, and I will update my story soon. I'm also working on a new story. I don't want to put it up until I have three or four chapters, though. I have about one and a half right now.
You won't believe what my sister did! She fell through a roof. She was at her friends' house, and they were running around on the roof. She stepped on this glass window they have up there, and fell through. She's fine. Nothing broken, no major injuries, though she had some scrapes and bruises. I'm happy about that, but I don't still don't know what she was doing on the roof in the first place.
I added another great story by Melody to the story page. Go look at this story.
Long day. Brazilian Independance Day today, so no school; but I had my first stunt riding compitition. Don't ask. But it was fun, even though I was just so amazingly nervous.
I updated the tour page. You lucky, lucky Florida fans. I would give my right arm to go to one of those concerts. Or any of their concerts for that matter. Their first tour, and I can't go to a concert. I'm depressing myself. I'll stop now.
Hanson moved.(I got the information from the Hanson Hotel) They're still in Tulsa, but in a new house. They are, fortunately, keeping their old house, as MOE headquarters. I'm glad. I'm a pack rat, and I don't like it when people throw (or sell) away things. They have memories in that house!
Check out the cover of their new cd, and of the cover of the first issue of their magazine at hansonline's update section. Or click here for the cover of the cd, and here for the cover of MOE. They're cool, even though not what I expected.
Hanson has a dog (female, I think) named Wickit.
There's a cool article about their appearance on Channel One on this page.
They won both the awards on the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice awards. Yay!
The website of the band that will be opening for Hanson on their tour is www.admiraltwin.com. Thank you so much to Aly for this information :).
