The next morning the boys woke up around eleven. They looked for their new-found friend but she was nowhere to be seen. Just then they heard someone coming up the rope. It was Jaime. "Hello sleepyheads. Honestly, guys sleep their lives away. Oh, the pranks I could've played. And really Taylor, get some help with that snoring problem! All I needed was a video camcorder and I would've had some serious blackmail material." She had already eaten, her hair was damp, and she had on a...bikini? Yes, it WAS a bikini. "What are you doing in a bathing suit?" Taylor asked. "Because as soon as you guys get dressed we are going to the park then your mom said Rhett and Rhian, the twins, said we could go over there and swim in their pool. So I am wearing my bathing suit under a pair of shorts for the park then we can just drive over to their house and I won't have to change. Did that answer everything? I think it did. Well c'mon guys, you gotta get ready in ten minutes!" she said, sounding so much like their mom it was scary. The guys reluctantly got up and in ten minutes were in their normal clothes, save for Zac, who was wearing an outfit which looked like a three year old had fingerpainted on it. "Zac, where in God's name did you get that shirt! It's blinded me for life!" Zac glared at Jai. "Shhh! It was Mac's Christmas present to me. I only wear it as a cover-up for pools and stuff." Jaime smiled at the thought of Mac giving Zac such a gift. "Oh, okay." If they watched smaller Hansons for an hour, Diana said they could go swim as long as they wanted. This left them with a lot of time to spare. "Jai, why did you get us up when we had an hour to kill?" Jaime smiled. "Because your mom told me that you loved reminiscing in the attic through the old photo albums and I wanted to find out more about you guys. Taylor smiled and nodded and soon the group found themselves in the musty attic of the Hanson household. "What's this one about, Tay?" Jaime looked at the picture of three children covered in food particles. "Oh,yeah." he said, starting to stroll on the many roads of memory lane. "It was the 4th of July and we all got in a food fight. That was sooooo fun." he smiled at the memory. He was snapped back to reality when he heard a creaking door. "Tay! Check it out!" Jaime was standing below a panel of ceiling that looked like an escape door of some sort. "Open it already then!" he said excitedly. Jai punched a peice of wood through it and reached her hand through the hole it had made. She lifted her hand up, slid the door to the right, then brought the whole panel down. "Give me a boost." she ordered Zac and Taylor. They each lifted one leg until she got hold of the frame of the trapdoor. She hung there for a second then slung her legs through the door and hoisted herself up. "Wow! This is sooooo cool! You guys! It leads off right onto this branch of the pine tree!" Zac had since gotten up also. "Oh cool! We could make this place our hideout!" Taylor jumped, grabbed the doorframe, and hoisted himself through also. "Yeah," Jaime said, "All we need to do is get some rope. Zac, you go get it. Taylor, you hold this branch here. Zac, give me the rope, and we'll tie down these branches to make a tent thingie. I guess this was made to be a skylight, but it never got finished. Someone must have just covered the hole with that piece of wood." When all was finished the three kids sat in their new hideout, each straddling and branch. After a few minutes of rest, they climbed down through the skylight. They all promised not to tell anyone about their new-found hideout...
