Here is a game that is near and dear to my heart. Growing up in Southern Ontario, hockey is a way of life. I think it's bred into you from the moment of conception! I have thousands (literally) of pictures starting way back in 1986 when I first started to follow the NHL quite feverishly...where my friends and I attended Toronto Maple Leafs games up to a couple times a month. We were (and still are) die hard Leaf fans.
Here are a couple random pictures that I have taken over the years, of myself with some of my favorite players...to some players that I actually got to know on a personal level. I'll try to scan in more when time permits. (And sorry, I didn't scan these in the greatest resolution either, which is why some of them appear blurred)
This is me back in Grade 11. I was a huge Wendel Clark fanantic! My, my...gotta love the 80s hair!
Brad May, still playing in the NHL...at the time of this picture, he was with the Niagara Falls Thunder. What a super sweet, super great guy!!
Me and Chris Gratton
Me and Saku Koivu
This is my friend MaryAnn with Jocelyn Thibault, a great NHL goalie. I included MaryAnn on this page, because anyone who knows me and my hockey adventures, they know MaryAnn was right there with me for almost every occasion. Our tribals and tribulations and sins (hee) will follow us to our graves. :)
You either love him or hate him, and personally I love Matthew Barnaby. Matt and I got to know each other through a mutual friend (Sandra). Matt's a super great guy. Here I am with him many moons ago, and then one with he and his fantabulous wife, Christine.
