	That's a picture of me and my boyfried Mike.  Mike and I have been together for almost 5 years.  This is a really old picture, but it's one of the only ones where Mike isn't making a goofy face. I am currently a graduate student in geochemistry at Stanford University.  My research area is Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of minerals and melts.  I will hopefully be helping to understand the structure of melts and minerals at high pressure.  I'm also interested in other types of spectroscopy, especially the study of colors in minerals. I graduated in 2003 from Caltech, where I researched the formation of a really rare mineral called Painite. I'm originally from Long Beach, CA.  I graduated from Long Beach Poly High School in 1999.  While there, I played a lot of tennis and did a lot of dorky extra-curricular activities. My hobbies include watching a lot of movies, going to concerts, and tutoring. I'm attempting to start up a blog, but I will probably never update it.  In case you care, it's here.
