The Band

Noel Gallagher
"the Chief"

Born on May 29, 1967 in Manchester, England. Noel writes all of Oasis' songs and has even been called the greatest songwriter of the 90's by George Martin. Was a one time roadie for the "Insprial Carpets" before he visited his brothers band "Rain" (which included Liam on vocals, Paul Arthurs on lead guitar, Paul McGuigan on bass, and Tony McCarroll on drums) where he listened to them perform. Calling the band shite, Noel offered to join the band if he would be the only one who writes all the songs. Noel changed the bands name to "Oasis" and the rest is history.
Liam Gallagher "Our Kid"

Born on September 21, 1972 in Manchester, England. Liam sings almost all of Oasis' songs except the ones his brother Noel sings. He is known as "The Bad Boy" of the band and is the youngest member. Liam often says that the spirit of John Lennon lives inside of him. When Liam was 19 he formed a band with his one time school friend Paul McGuigan, along with Paul Arthurs, and Tony McCarroll where he wrote all the songs and was the leader before his big brother Noel joined up.
"Whitey"
Alan White

Born on May 26, 1972 in South-East London. Alan is the newest member of "Oasis". He replaced original drummer Tony McCarroll in the Spring of 1995 after Tony was fired for a lack of talent and an altercation with the band in Paris. Noel discovered Alan and offered him a spot in the band as the drummer, he said yes in the matter of moments. First appeared on the album "(Whats the Story) Morning Glory?" and has been on every single and album since.
Former Members

Paul McGuigan "Guigsy"

Born May 9, 1971 in Manchester, England. Paul was one of the original members of "Oasis", in fact he is the second member of the band. Like George Harrison of the "Beatles", he is known as the quiet one. He is rarely interviewed and according to Guigsy, when he isn't with the band all he does is smoke and watch soccer. He left the band for a brief time because of nervous exhaustion just before the start of Oasis' American tour in early 1996. He was replaced for a few gigs by the bassist of the "Ya-Yas" before an incident on the tour left him packing for home. Guigsy left the band two weeks after his best mate Bonehead did. He said he couldn't commit to the upcoming world tour and the promotional work that surrounds it, but appears on the newst "Oasis" album provisionally titled "Where Did IT All Go Wrong?"
Paul Arthurs "Bonehead"

Born on June 23, 1965 in Manchester, England. Paul was the oldest member of Oasis before he left in August of 1999. He was the rhythm guitarist and founding member of the band. Nicknamed Bonehead at an early age because his father made him have a shaved head during his childhood and has been his nickname ever since. Formed the band "Rain" along with Guigsy, Tony McCarroll, and Chris Hudson. Later Liam would join changing the band name to "Oasis" and brought his brother Noel into play.Bonehead decided to leave the band in order to spend more time with his family and will appear on the forthcoming "Oasis" album.
