12 March 99  Billy Corgan To Play With
Father At Benefit Smashing Pumpkins leader
Billy Corgan is scheduled to perform with his
father, guitarist William Corgan, for the first time
during a March 25 all-star benefit for homeless
youth in Chicago.

March 11.  A Music Profeesor is suing the
Smashing pumpkins because he claims he
suffered hearing loss.  Read More....

MAR 2. D'arcy may be following the footsteps of
band mate James Iha with a solo album.  She
is continuing to do work in the band but she
wants to record her own project.  It will be a
very grunge sounding album.  Guests expected
are Courtney Love and Kerry Brown.  Sp collection

FEB 22. Its official Jimmy Chamberlin is back  with The Smashing Pumpkins.  It has been  3 and a 1/2 years since his departure from  the band but, MTV comfirmed it.  They got  word from a Virgin spokesman.

Feb. 20
Billy Corgan will be presenting at the
41st annual grammy awards.  The
Smashing Pumpkins are nominated
for best alternative album for
'Adore' and Billy is up for another one
for best rock song for Celebrity Skin
along with Courtney Love and Eric Erlanson.

JAN 16.
According to the Smashing Pumpkins
Collection Jimmy Chamberlin will be
rehired!  The Last Hard Men (a project
w/ Kelley Deal, Jimmy Flemoin and
Sebastian Bach) Jimmy has come
clean and is moving forward.  No
drummer seemed to work.  More

The Smashing Pumpkins have dumped there
management Q-Prime.  They  have performed
at the Almost Acoustic Christmas. listen here...
They will perform at the Very Special Christmas
show on the 20th.  There are many rumored dates
in possibly California (Which I hope to attend)

DEC 1.
If you watched Flipper on ABC last weekend
you would have noticed that Elijah Wood wore
a SP red heart shirt.  Part of the movie was him
going to an SP concert but they had to save
Flipper instead. Hmmmm....?

"Daphne Descends" might be the next singles

-The Pumpkins performed a new song at the Dodger

OCT 28.
-Accoriding to a Smashing Pumpkins site.  Billy Corgan
is helping out garbage on their new album while
they tour.  He is said to be a guest vocalist and possible
producer.

-The Pumpkins performed Crestfallen at the '98 VH1
Fashion Awards.  I am guessing this will be their next
single. Here is a  crestfallenlive file from
the awards.

OCT 24.
The follow-up to June's adore is in the works right now
according to Rolling Stone magazine. The songs have been
written according to Corgan.

OCT 20.

This week it has been anounced that the next single after
Perfect and Ava Adore will be 'Crestfallen' or 'Pug'. It
is rumored to just be a promo and not a single.  I'll keep
you updated!
