I tried veganism for 3 months (I've been a vegetarian for 11 years) and my tongue almost fell out of my head. I applaud your cause and regret my selfishness. *sigh*... the perils of typing in the dark on a new keybard... hence, I believe you have a blank "signature" for me besides this one... lol. I am not a vegetarian/vegan, but have a dear friend who is. She lived with me for a period of time and I sampled many of her recipes and enjoyed them immensely. I have a lot of health problems, which include diabetes and heart problems. My medications tend to keep my stomach in an uproar, and I'm finding that the only things I want to eat are non-meat foods. Anyt ing meat seems to turn my stomach. I'm finding that I really enjoy vegetables and salads, and have been spending quite a bit of time looking at vegetarian sites and asking questions. Anyway... not to give you a whole life history in your guestbook area. . I just have to say this... your site is one of the most fact filled, interesting, informative vegan sites that I've come across so far. I have a feeling that I'll be visiting quite often as I work on making a change in my diet. I too loathe animal cru lty of any kind. I think that eating meat is unnecessary and something that's conditioned into us as children. I definitely support your efforts and thank you for your valuable input on this issue!

I am a beginning vegan, (slowly getting there) and this site really opened my eyes.. I didnt like the idea of eating dairy eggs and meats because of where it came from, but this definantly strengthens my resolve.. I had no idea things were that severe for the animals :( Thank you for opening my eyes more.

I love visiting sites like yours!! After years of being a meat eater I became a vegetarian (4.5 yrs. now). Feeling like I was doing the world a favour by not eating meat, I was suddenly informed of the ramification of eating dairy. I had this idea that da ry was harmless, wow, was I wrong. My friend presented me with loads of info(a lot off the net)on the negatives of dairy. Pus,leukemia,cancer, numerious bacteria, environmental concerns and humane issues. NO offense..but I find this a little hard to ingest. Calling people murderers...I don't believe in cruelty for the animals...But you must not be Christian...for one...In the bible, scriptures. It talks about wise use of meat. And that animals were here for our pleasure to love and to enjoy but also to supply food. Come on...really...I agree that man is drastic sometimes and cruel...but if my family had no food and animals were around...I would definately feed my family. After all did not God give Adam rule over the animals. Enough said. I was only able to take a brief tour of your site but what I saw I thought was very informative. I chose to check your site because I am a vegetarian of 7 years and now interested in becoming a vegan because I am still participating in the cruelty that I as hoping to help end.
