Photographic film contains gelatin. Many vegans (including myself) use digital cameras as an alternative. There is nothing veganly about using something that has animals in it. No matter how many "vegans" say they use film won't make it vegan. Just like some "vegetarians" eat chicken or fish, doesn't really make them vegetarians. We all have to draw the line somewhere. It is imposable to be 100% vegan without removing ourselves from society. I wouldn't use a camera that wasn't digital, but I do occasionally go to the movies. It is up to you. What do you think is right? Maybe to you it would be ok to use something with animal products for now until you can replace your camera with a digital one.

Most sugar plantations use crop burning and insecticides and other pesticides heavily, large amounts of fossil fuels are used in processing, filtration, packaging, and transport for the sugar industry, and many sugar companies decolorize sugar by filtering it through a charcoal that is made from animal bones. Florida Crystals , is the brand I use and it is not processed through bone char.





Many sodas do not contain animal derivatives; just make sure the soda you drink does not have sugar in it. Vegans avoid supporting the Pepsi company because they support bullfights.
