Kickflip Body-Varial

-
1. Many people learn this trick before they land their first kickflip. If you are having problems landing on the board with regular kickflips, give this trick a try - practice it on grass or something if you're nervous about falling.
2. Setup for a kickflip: front foot heel hanging of the board, back foot on the tip of the tail.
3. Drag your front foot up and off the side of the board to set it spinning.
4. After you do the 'flip' flick, rotate your shoulders and body 180. Frontside is easier than a backside spin.
5. Remember to jump high to give the board room to flip over as you spin your body.
6. Land with your feet a shoulder width apart. Sometimes, your feet have a tendency to move closer as you spin so that both feet end up landing in the middle of the board which is obviously a good way to slip out.
