Happy New Year all the fans of Early Morning April (all 4 of you)...Josh is now back in Arizona and in his first day back, EMA had a very productive practice..."Quarter Pack" is now fully written and both Josh and Mike are extremely happy with how it is sounding...for those of you locally in AZ that want to hear it, too bad :-) You'll have to get your ass out to one of our shows once we play live to hear it...We also have two more songs underway, but nowhere near to done...once those are finished, EMA will be looking for live shows....keep checking back to this page for any updates...Thanks everyone for your support...(all 4 of you)

Just a small news update to those of you who are actually reading this...Surprisingly, the band had yet another productive session and came out of it with another pure Emo song...Even though it is yet to be named, the lyrics are written and the tracks are laid down...Mike and Josh plan on eventually getting into a studio to record this one so they can hopefully submit it to the Emo Diaries ....the story is the same for those of you in the Phoenix area or on mp3.com who want to hear this...you will have to get yourselves out to one of our shows to hear it....stay tuned for more updates

How does Early Morning April spend their Super Bowl Sunday? Writing yet ANOTHER song and going to Taco Bell.....St. Louis Who? Tennesee what? As I type this, Chris is laying down the bass track to the new song....they should be playing live sometime soon
As of today, the band has officially named Chris its bassist. They also have named the new song from yesterday after their band

Mike and Josh laid down the guitar and drum tracks to their new song "College Boy Expectations" today ... It's sounding pretty tight with only a few rough spots ... EMA also plans on hitting the studio during the week of spring break (March 13 - 17) so keep on the lookout for their debut EP

Early Morning April is submitting their demo tomorrow to both 13 Records in Florida and Lobster Records in California ... They practiced once again today and College Boy Expectations is sounding nice and tight ... Stay tuned to this page for more soon

The guys worked their asses off tonite and got a lot done ... The re-recordings of "Early Morning April" and "College Boy Expectations" are done and ready to be mixed, and "Thumbkin" is being finished as I type ... They've pretty much wrapped up the songs they need to record their EP, and just are waiting on money (hint hint 1420 East Desert Flower Lane Phoenix, AZ 85048) Look for them to be playing locally as soon as certain people get off their asses ... Stay tuned

Early Morning April spent last saturday laying down the guitar, bass and drums to their new demo, and are spending this whole week adding in the second guitar part and vocals/backups ... Their new demo may be their last recording together due to ASU's asshole financial aid department making Josh leave ... stay tuned and maybe we will have good news soon
