The rules in the chamber are simple: 1.) Do not enter this channel without an open mind. Many of the subject matters discussed here are often of a dark, morbid, sexual and / or "politically incorrect" nature. If you find such matters offensive IT IS BEST THAT YOU LEAVE THE CHANNEL. While this is a forum for the free and frank discussion of any topic, abusive behavior will not be tolerated. Free expression is a right, but to abuse of that right at another's expense is an abomination. 2.) Be respectful and courteous to others at all time. If you're not you risk the wrath of any of our little family. We take care of our own here! 3.) Obey what the ops tell you to do. If you don't you will be kicked and/or banned from the room. 4.) No advertising of commercial sites in the open channel. Personal sites are fine, but do not attempt to take advantage of this. Regulars and ops may have their sites added to the links page of this site and refer visitors to there page if they wish. 5.) No flooding or takeover attempts. Attempts to flood or take over the channel will be rewarded by a lifetime ban and a report to the IRC authorities, among other possibilities. 6.) If there is a problem, ask an op. The channel's ops (those people with an @ next to their nickname) are there to help you. Just ask one of them if you have some sort of question or problem. 7.) Do not Message or DCC anyone without asking first. It is common courtesy that, unless you are acquinted with that person, you do not message or attempt to DCC others in the channel. This rule does not apply to questions concerning matters that should be brought to an op's attention. 8.) Please announce that you are leaving the channel at least 30 seconds before you do (Otherwise known as the Cneajna Rule) This will allow her to tell you goodbye, and being as we all love her, we all abide by it!
