I'm pretty comfortable in my basement back home- but if the guy who hates me r ght now is there, I'd be much less comfortable- as opposed to being in my dorm with someone like the girl I have a crush on- the dorm is slightly less comfortable than my basement- but the person makes all the difference.

it's almost 5 in the morning. I had alot on my mind. no one to talk to. no one to chat with. and, obviously, no one to hang out with. I wanted to do some writing, it's one of those times when I feel really out of touch with however I'm feeling so I n eded to get it out somehow, and writing usually helps. but, since it's one of those times- I happen to be so out of touch right now that I just don't know where to start, so I figured signing a guestbook would give me something to go on. didn't necesari y get me to articulate how I was feeling, but it gave me something to let my mind run off about. hence all the long responses. I'm listening to my mp3's right now. I wish I had a better sound system, I mean- this laptop has pretty damn sweet sound for computer, but still- it ain't no stereo. but I can't really turn a stereo on right now. it's quiet hours in the dorm. but, even if I could turn on a stereo, nowhere could I find a stereo in which I could create a playlist of all my favorite songs and ave the fucker just play 'em in some random order. it's so cool randomizing your favorite songs- cause then you listen to the first song and think, "hey, this is a good song!" then-- whoa! this really hot girl just walked into our bathroom. some guy o viously has her over. he's probably feeling lucky. I would-- I wouldn't be having to battle away these feelings of boredom and loneliness. of course- who the hell wouldn't be bored and lonely at this hour?? it's fucking 5 a.m. I don't care how many f iends you have, you're gonna feel a little lost when you're as confined and alone as I am. this laptop is all I have right now. thank god there's so many things I can color in the laptop, as far as sounds, writing, and songs. well, thanks for the guest ook, Lyn. now everyone you know can get an insight into the long late night rantings of yours truly. perhaps I can channel this entry and get some thoughts out on WordPerfect or something. i need some goddamn inspiration. shit. Hey, Lyn. How's it going. Happy Valentine's Day. You know, I was sitting here in the lab bored. I'm not in my dorm... i'm in the stupid lab on campus surrounded by stupid printers. I couldn't write an email, cause I had nothing worth saying to anybod ... and no emails to respond to. I realized guestbooks have guiding questions. So I immediately came to your guestbook... cause I thought maybe even a little gesture such as this one would help make you feel even the slightest bit more special... cause eople don't make websites for no reason. I mean, no matter what we have to say... if we make a website... whatever we put on it is potentially something the whole world could see/hear. It's not very likely... but it's interesting enough. Kinda makes yo feel like you have something worth saying... cause someone somewhere decided they'd make room for this opportunity for you. I dunno... I don't put alot of effort into my site... well, compared to lots of other websites... because, even though I'm aware hat potentially the whole world could access my website with substantial ease, hardly two or three people see that site in a day. If that. Probably one on average... just cause I usually see it once a day. Perhaps if I put lots of effort, insight, ente tainment, and purpose into my sight, then it would gain a little more notoriety. Isn't it sad that most popular websites are visited soley for the visitor's purpose... they hardly care about the effort the site creators may have put into it... uh, i gues ... but maybe it's cause it's their jobs.
