.... Athens city Hardcore - Punk scene starts back in the early 80's. Bands like
"Genia tou haous" (= Generation of chaos) , Stress , EX-Humans ,Grover, Adiexodo (=deadend) and Panx Romana  established the Greek Punk and Hardcore scene ........

The 80's scene had mainly Punk band's. The above mentioned bands  with  some others were the bands that inspired all the now days band's of the scene. These bands played in small clubs in Plaka (Athens) like Sofita club and Pegasos club at Exarxia . They had few fans but they were enough to set the scene (and the cops) in motion. It was difficult for the band's and the fans because of the way the  society was at that time.
Some of their members are playing now days in other bands mainly Hardcore.
