Flipside is
a group that was established in Athens at the start of 1998 and to be exact
in January 1998 . The starting
members were George (drums) , Stathis (vocals)
and Panagiotis (guitar). After
three months Sarantis (bass) joined the group,
but that was temporary since
he became one of the guitarists . So nowadays Flipside
appear like this : George (drums)
, Sarantis (guitar) , Panagiotis (guitar) , Tasos (bass)
and Stathis (Vocals).
They have a very good
Hardcore rhythm and they play New School Hardcore since
in their songs you can find
some things , that are outside the Hardcore culture.
They are influenced from
bands like Madball , Sick Of It All and even Deftones
and
Unsane. At this time they give live performances in small clubs in Athens
and they 're preparing their
first demo tape . Their main aim is to play Hardcore music
but with a little bit more "alternative"
and a little more personal style that gets away
from the standards.
