The Four Noble Truths
(As translated by me)

The First Noble Truth
Unsatisfactoriness and suffering exist and are universally experienced.

Translation: the world, for the most part, has a tendency to become a big suck

The Second Noble Truth
Desire and attachment are the causes of unsatisfactoriness and suffering.

Translation: By concentrating too much on yourself, others, and your place, you make your life difficult and painful.

The Third Noble Truth
There is an end to unsatisfactoriness and suffering.

Translation: But you can do something about it.

The Fourth Noble Truth
The end can be attained by journeying on the
Noble Eightfold Path.

Translation: Following the Noble Eightfold Path can stop unsatisfactoriness, suffering, and the tendency for this world to be a big suck.

Ok, so what's next? The Noble Eightfold Path is where you want to look next.
