Brian's Foundation

Brian has started a foundation for under privilage children whos parents can't afford to have heart surgery. As you all know Brian had open heart surgery last Spring. Through a lot of love and prayers from family and friends he pulled through. Brian was born with a heart defect and his mom and dad had trouble getting him insurance. Howie D's Foundation

I'm sure you have all heard that Howie's sister Caroline Dorough Cochran passed away on September 12 of this year of the disease lupus. Howie has started a foundation for his sister. Official Statement from Howie D.

Dear Fans,

The outpouring emotion and sympathy I have received from the fans and the media has been overwhelming. Caroline was only 37 when she lost her battle with the disease called lupus. This disease affects the immune system, often striking young people like my sister, in their prime.
I would request that instead of sending cards and gifts in memory of my sister, a donation could be made to the fund I have established in her name. This donation would help towards the research of lupus with hope a cure could be found, and no other family would have to suffer a loss such as ours.
