Nick Carter will be featured on the June/July issue of Teen People as one of the hottest people under 21. Also on the cover will be Monica and Brittany Spears. There is lots of info on all of the boys too.

They have just finished recording the the video for their new single "I Want It That Way." The video is directed by Wayne Isham(the director of 98* Hardest Thing). The video will start airing sometime in early May.
The Backstreet Boys next project is an hour long Disney Channel Special "BSB in Concert." It is scheduled to air on July 10, 1999 at 7:00 PM ET/PT. It will be taped in New York on May 11 infront of 1,800 fans in the new Amsterdam Theater.

Freddie and Obie of the Backstreet Boys band have both left the group. Freddie is now playing for Brittany Spears and he was also the member that was with the boys the longest out of all the band members.
Howie is going to help produce his sister Pollyanna's upcoming CD.

Last night on the Shania Twain special the boys sang "All I Have To Give" and joined Shania in the song "From This Moment." It sounded awesome and even Howie and Kevin got to sing.
Brian went back to his hometown on Monday to record the song "Perfect Fan" which was a song that he wrote about his mom. There were 45 local choral students singing for background, most which were former students of Tates Creek High School(Brian's High School). The song will be on the boys next CD due out on May 18.

The official release day of their first single is in just a few days. On April 12 it will be officaily released but don't be surprised if you hear it earlier because they are already starting to play it in some cities. It is heard that because people have the song on internet and some places in the USA are already playing it that they it can be released now.
The Backstreet Boys have been nominated for two awards for the 99 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards. They're nominated for Favorite Group and Favorite CD.

The Boys will not be performing at the Grammys this year but there will be a segment that was taped with Rosie that will be on it. It has been heard that they will present an award.
On February 17 the BSB album was certified 10x Platinum by Record Industry Association of America. It was for an album exceeding over 1 million and they also got a gold certificate which was for exceeding over 500,000. AIHTG got gold and All Access got 5x platinum.
The Backstreet Boys have been nominated for two awards in the Nick Choice Awards that will be airing May 1st. They are nominated ofr "Best Group" and "Best Song".

A new book called "Backstreet Boys on the Road will be published in May. This book is published by the official biographer for the guys, Rob McGibbon. It will be sold for $19.95.

The Backsreet Boys World Tour has been resheduled for June 2nd. The last day of the European tour is August 7th.

On Friday nights Miss USA pageant Kevin was one of the judges. He looked really hot but he was very picky about the girls there. He was the judge that marked the lowest for all the girls except Miss Tennessee. Hmm..... Maybe he likes her.
Last nights paper view was well worth paying. On the pre-show of it, it showed Nick and his girlfriend holding eachother and Brian and his girlfriend together.

Howie and Kevin are planning to colaberate with Grammy Winner Gary Baker on the last track on their up coming CD. Finally Howie and Kevin get to take part in something.
