experimental and influential (incredible is probably the word I'm lookin' for) on the earlier albums, but "Diamond" Dave doesn't compare to Sammy as a singer or a songwriter. Lady J will tell you and I agree that Love Walks In is their finest recorded moment and I certainly don't think they can top it with Gary Cherone singing (he should never have left Extreme). Everything about the song works just right. You can hear the joy of discovering how good they were together on the whole album. And Alex cuts loose with some really good fills on the title track.
