This cd is pretty good. It's just typical melodic Swedish death metal. It's in the same vein as Dark Tranquillity and In Flames. There's nothing on here that grabs you but it's not a bad cd. It's one of those cds that is o.k., but none of the songs do anything for you. Or at least they didn't for me.
Production rating 8/10
Songwriting 6/10 (No striking songs.)
I have sold this album so long ago that I don't remember who played what,
or what songs there were.
I will look for that information on their webpage.
I bought this album and a week later I sold it. Not to say it's not a decent album. The double bass drums are excellent and guitars are pretty good. Herein lies the problem. There seems to be no bass on the album which is reminiscent of Metallica's "And Justice for All" and many of the riffs sound too similar for comfort. The songs are just fucking lame and boring and don't interest me at all.
Production rating 5 or 6/10
Songwriting 5/10 (Very unoriginal)
