Moonspell is a Portugese band. They have an intersting sound made up of weird synths and samples, distorted guitar, opera-style and distorted black metal vocals. I really like this guy's voice. It's so thick and powerful. The chick singer on this album is great as well. "Raven Claws" is a great song and the two singers do some harmony and it just kicks ass.
The bad thing about this album is that the songs are too motonous. Many sound the same and the shock of the opera vocals wears off after a while. The synth and sample guy uses to much of the same shit and the guitarist never does a heavy, headbanging riff. That's what this band is missing.
