Whoa, TWO bass players! One's an eight string bass too! Oddly enough I hear drums but there are no drum credits. Ah well, they aren't special anyway.
Necromantia, emanating from Greece, have achieved a very original sound. Though they have two bass players, there isn't an incredibly disgusting amount of low end on this album. Quite to the contrary. Thought the bass is dominant, the production is somewhat thin. The guitars don't sound very good at all. The drums are ok and flute is great!! The song writing is very original which compensates for the cheesy production. Unfortunately, "Spiritforms of the Pyshcromancer" is not found on the cd version. I heard it on the World Domination II cd. That's my favorite song on this album. A very interesting, original and damn good offering.
