The above picture is NOT the album cover. I couldn't find one on the net, and I'm too lazy to scan it.

This band likes to be dubbed "Ithyphallic Metal", whatever that means. Nile is a seriously brutal and evil band. They have a really twisted melodic sense that I enjoy a lot. The drums are great! Intense and unrelenting. The vocals are low growls, and even with the lyrics they are very hard to discern. I wish the bass did more stuff, but oh well, this is supposed to be death metal right? They often utilize Middle Eastern folk accents in their melodies and their breaks. "Die Rache Krieg Lied der Assyriche" sounds like the Soviet Army marching into Berlin. This album alone should be enough to fuel the Satanic hordes for a few millennia.
