Originating from Cincinnatti, Ohio, this doom metal band came to Rochester and I went to see them. Actually, I went to see Nocturnal Trinity but they got screwed by the club and I was pissed. Anyway, I saw them and I was very impressed with their music. I soon realized that I would pay six dollars just to see them by themselves! I also got a copy of this album for four dollars instead of paying ten. (Thank you Thorns of the Carrion. Good luck!)
For those of you who don't know, doom metal is usually slow to mid-tempo music and it is very melancholy. This album is a great examlpe of these things. Each song is sad and that's what so great about it. It is melodic, ambient, and emotional. I like the fact that they use a recorder through most of the album. The guitars are distorted and the vocals and lyrics are very good. I highly recommend this album and at the very least, go to one of their shows!!!! It will definitely be worth it!!
